Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vietnamese Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Vietnamese cuisine, with the ability to prepare traditional dishes to the highest standards. This role requires creativity, passion, and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
- Prepare and cook authentic Vietnamese dishes according to traditional recipes and standards.
- Develop and introduce new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items.
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Monitor and control food costs and inventory.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and promotions.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer feedback or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients as appropriate.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a Vietnamese Chef in a reputable restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Ability to commute/relocate: Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
- Language: Proficiency in English (Required); knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus.
