Job Description
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a strong eye for visual composition and experience in creating a wide range of graphics and layouts. You will be responsible for designing art, coordinating with various stakeholders, and contributing to team efforts to meet design needs.
Responsibilities
- Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style; submit designs for approval.
- Prepare finished art by operating necessary equipment and using Adobe Illustrator software (highly knowledgeable).
- Coordinate with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing teams, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
- Communicate with clients and superiors about layout and design.
- Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites using software such as Photoshop.
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Experience as a Graphic Designer or in a related field.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Experience with computer-aided design (optional).
