Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join our team and provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their seats.
• Present menus, answer questions about the menu and provide recommendations upon request.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following restaurant standards.
• Monitor tables to ensure guests have a positive dining experience and promptly address any needs or concerns.
• Process bills, handle payments, and provide correct change.
• Clear tables, set up dining areas, and ensure a clean and organized environment.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, such as setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Be knowledgeable about daily specials, menu items, and promotions to inform and engage guests.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays of food and beverages for extended periods.
