Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of UAE experience to lead construction and renovation projects across our portfolio of restaurants, shops, offices, and other commercial spaces. This role involves planning, designing, and overseeing both interior and exterior infrastructure to meet our high standards of functionality, aesthetics, safety, and local compliance. Ideal candidates will bring strong commercial construction experience, particularly in retail and hospitality settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Design and Planning: Develop detailed designs and plans for new builds, renovations, and upgrades, focusing on efficiency, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
• Site Management: Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are maintained.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Quality and Safety Compliance: Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards, addressing issues promptly.
• Cost and Budget Management : Prepare accurate cost estimates, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including drawings, permits, reports, and evaluations.
• Sustainability and Environmental Considerations: Integrate sustainable practices and materials into project designs, adhering to environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of UAE experience in civil engineering, preferably in commercial or retail project management
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other project management tools
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with diverse teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial, retail, or hospitality projects
• Understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for commercial spaces
